Fishing for a Cause

Over 22 years...more than 1,000 teams...over $320,000 donated to Greater Houston charities. Since 1988, the Anadarko Fishing Tournament has left its mark on our community while serving as an outlet to enjoy business relationships in a relaxed setting and the great fishing at Lake Rayburn. Charities Supported

Who do we help

The tournament committee has selected Casting For Recovery as its 2009 community partner. Casting for Recovery is a national non-profit support and educational program for breast cancer survivors. They enhance the lives of breast cancer survivors by offering no-cost retreats tailored to promote and support mental and physical healing through shared experiences and the learning of new skills.

Raffles/Auctions

The tournament has “squares” board type raffles where squares may be purchased for opportunities to win prizes such as airline tickets, hunting and fishing trips. Anadarko employees and vendors generously donate these items and 100% is paid out to the charity.
