The tournament has “squares” board type raffles where squares may be purchased for opportunities to win prizes such as airline tickets hunting and fishing trips. Anadarko employees and vendors generously donate these items and 100% is paid out to the charity.

The Anadarko Annual Fishing Tournament is a collaborative effort between Anadarko Petroleum Corporation employees, employees of other oil and gas industry organizations and corporate sponsors. While the tournament’s commitment to improving quality of life in the community is shared by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, the tournament is not an official charity event sponsored by the corporation.

Who do we help

The tournament committee has selected Casting For Recovery as its 2009 community partner. Casting for Recovery is a national non-profit support and educational program for breast cancer survivors. If you are not able to fish and you would like to donate to this cause, you can mail a check to the Fishing Committee. Raffles/Auctions

A majority of the total Calcutta pool will pay out to the tournament's participants. The remainder - along with donations from participants and sponsors - will benefit the 2008 charity - CASA of Montgomery County.
